Alfredo Navarro

Alfredo Navarro was born in Alcoy (Alicante) in 1965 . His father was also an accomplished artist and was brought up with art from an early age in the city of alcoy alicante on the eastern coast of Spain. Initially inspired by his father,  Navarro attended the art school of Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes at a young age. He received an art degree from Circulo de Bellas Artes from Valencia University.

At age 19 Navarro began painting professionally and in 1986 received first place in an exhibition that was sponsored by the Government Delegate of Galicia in Galicia, Spain. Navarro then returned to Alcoy to paint and apprentice

His specialist technique of painting striking sunsets sweeping seas and foaming waves in all its different forms is admired by his collectors and artists alike. He is known for his bold creativity and expressive colour usage. His technique is somewhere between realism and hyperrealism.
